Overview

Guan Ning Lin is a bioinformatics PhD student and graduate research assistant in the Digital Biology Laboratory, Department of Computer Science and Informatics Institute. He obtained his BS Degree in computer science from Baylor University in Texas. He also earned his MS Degree in computer science concentrated in bioinformatics from Baylor University. His research interests are in the area of comparative genomics analysis in phylogeny and evolution, machine learning, analysis of high-throughput biological data for functions, and computational structure biology.
